Dutch police suspect local hackers in Odido breach

Dutch police found strong indications that Dutch hackers breached telecom Odido in February. A Dutch-speaking man posed as an Odido IT employee in a call to customer service before the phishing attack. The ShinyHunters extortion gang claimed responsibility, releasing an 88GB archive with over 15 million records. The breach affected 6.2 million customers.
