A developer running a large dataset of company profiles discovered that JSON.stringify corrupted about 150,000 values across ten jsonb columns in a Postgres database. Background scripts wrote to those columns for weeks without errors. Containment filters like services @> '["SEO"]' silently returned nothing for rows that had services.
