LG Display Invests in 111-Inch OLED Production

LG Display and Guangzhou Development Zone Holding Group invest 1 billion yuan to upgrade facilities for giant OLED displays. The project targets manufacturing modules covering 77-inch, 83-inch, 97-inch, and 111-inch sizes, with the 111-inch panel being a major highlight. Current 97-inch models use older non-Tandem technology from 2022, while smaller siblings utilize Primary RGB Tandem 2.0 panels.
