Spiro takes $55M from China's NewTrails Capital

Spiro secured $55 million from Chinese firm NewTrails Capital to expand its battery-swapping network across seven African countries. The company runs over 100,000 electric motorcycles and 2,500 swap stations. The investment pushes Spiro's total disclosed funding to roughly $557 million, nearing a $1 billion valuation.
