Anthropic and OpenAI both released new AI models on Tuesday. Anthropic's Opus 5.5 cuts costs by nearly 40% versus Opus 5 while matching Fable 5.1. OpenAI's GPT-6 Sol and Luna, follow-ups to July's 5.6 versions, offer lower budgets and higher usage limits, with less than half the mistakes of predecessors. Both roll out to ChatGPT Work and Codex.
