Austin firefighters and first responders have raised concerns about Tesla's Cybercab robotaxis, specifically the vehicle's touchscreen interface. Training sessions with Tesla have not fully alleviated worries about the screen's reliability in emergencies, such as with gloved or dirty hands, a cracked screen, or a loss of power. The vehicle lacks traditional controls like a steering wheel or pedals, making the touchscreen the sole method for moving the car.
