Irish Student Wins EU Science Prize

Aoibheann Daly, Ireland's Stripe YSTE winner, won the Special Jury Award for Youth at the European Union Contest for Young Scientists 2026 in Kiel, Germany, held 22 to 27 September. Her GlioScope project uses deep learning and causal AI to help doctors diagnose and treat brain cancer. She advances to Regeneron ISEF 2027 in Los Angeles.
