Next-Gen Lexus EV Arrives Soon With Gigacasting Tech

Lexus will build a next-generation electric crossover at a new Shanghai plant, with production starting in fall 2027. Gigacasting molds aluminum body parts into one piece, cutting weight and boosting range by several percent. The Chinese-exclusive model targets around 1,000 units monthly initially.
