Anthropic marks all Claude output globally

Anthropic now attaches machine-readable watermarks and C2PA metadata to Claude text and images worldwide, not just in the EU, after signing the EU AI Act's Article 50(2) Code of Practice. The marking applies to all products, including the API and Claude Code, effective 2 August 2026.
