Cloudflare: AI agents now outnumber human web traffic

Cloudflare says more than half of internet traffic is now non-human, with AI agent requests up over 1,700% in a year. Human traffic in retail, software and finance fell as much as 40%. Cloudflare launched Pay Per Use, letting publishers charge verified crawlers when content is used, not merely crawled.
