Chery Unveils First Diesel Plug-In Hybrid Pickup

Chery has built the Stockman, which it calls the world's first diesel plug-in hybrid pickup, for Australia. It pairs a 2.5-litre turbo-diesel with a 34 kWh battery for 469 hp, 800 Nm and 3,500 kg towing, claiming 100 km of electric range on the NEDC cycle. Figures are preliminary pending certification.
