Canadian ZEV sales rise 21% in April

Canadian zero-emission vehicle sales climbed 21.2% in April to 17,795 units, driven by the return of the $5,000 federal rebate. The ZEV adoption rate reached 9.7%, up from 7.5% a year earlier. Overall car sales fell 6% to 183,921 during the same period.
