India extends Apple-friendly tax breaks to 2041

India proposed extending tax exemptions for foreign suppliers of manufacturing equipment to contract makers like Foxconn and Tata through 31 March 2041. The draft bill also covers tablets, laptops, wearables, and data-centre leasing. India made about 6% of iPhones in 2022, projected to reach 26% in 2026.
