Finnish company Kuva Space completed a pilot with a European security stakeholder using its hyperspectral satellites and AI to monitor opium poppy cultivation in Afghanistan's Helmand Province. The system identified 8,835 likely poppy fields from nearly 249,000 agricultural parcels.
