Study Finds Little Evidence Diversity Boosts Science

A new scoping review of over 100 scientific articles found only 15% to 28% of results support the 'Diversity Hypothesis' that diversity enhances scientific output and impact. The review concludes there is little empirical evidence for the claim, with most evidence pointing in the opposite direction, except possibly for disciplinary diversity at the team level.
