Linux 7.3 flattens cgroup scheduling to a single runqueue, lifting minimum FPS from 4 to 29 on an Intel Core i7-2600K with an AMD Radeon RX 580. The fix, by Peter Zijlstra, also cuts max frame latency. It arrives after Linux 7.2's release.
