Evooo1Bot, a Mirai-derived Linux botnet, exploits known flaws to infect edge devices and turn them into SOCKS5 proxies. Active since July 2026, it targets vulnerabilities in Hikvision, Atlassian, Zyxel, TP-Link, D-Link, and Kubernetes. Encrypted C2 communications hide traffic on port 443.
