Researcher Nightmare Eclipse released ShieldBreak, a Microsoft Defender zero-day bypassing the RoguePlanet patch (CVE-2026-50656) to gain SYSTEM privileges on fully patched Windows 10, Windows 11, and Windows Server. Kevin Beaumont confirmed it works on latest Windows 11 and published detection queries.
