Prinano produces photonic chips without DUV lithography

Chinese startup Prinano validated mass production of 8-inch photonic chip wafers using nanoimprint lithography, avoiding DUV entirely. The PL-AS vacuum air-cushion NIL system cuts manufacturing costs to roughly one-tenth of traditional DUV-based processes, reducing dependence on restricted ASML tools.
