A GitHub project called WirelessAndroidAutoDongle turns a Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W into a wireless Android Auto adapter using a custom Linux image. The setup flashes a prebuilt image onto an SD card, then the Pi emulates a phone via USB gadget mode. It connects over Bluetooth and 5GHz Wi-Fi, booting in about 15 seconds.
