Minneapolis Proposes Requiring Human Drivers in Waymos

Four Minneapolis city councilors proposed an ordinance requiring licensed human drivers to serve as paid safety monitors in autonomous vehicles. The City Council will hold a public hearing on Sept. 22, with the measure set to take effect next October if passed.
