Ford removed the 5.0-liter V8 from the F-150 King Ranch and Platinum trims. Only the 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 and hybrid PowerBoost remain. Buyers wanting a V8 must choose XL, STX, XLT, Lariat, or Tremor trims. The EcoBoost matches the V8's 400 hp but offers more torque.
