Anthropic makes Claude Code auto mode default

Anthropic will make Auto mode the default for Claude Code Pro, Max, and Team users starting August 14. In testing with 1,053 paid testers, Auto mode blocked 89% of harmful commands versus 13.6% caught by humans. Enterprise users keep it opt-in for now.
