Nintendo Wins $4.5M Piracy Judgment

A Washington federal judge issued a default judgment ordering Reddit moderator James Williams, known as archbox, to pay Nintendo $4.5 million for running pirate shops that distributed Switch games. The award covers 30 copyrighted titles at $150,000 each. Williams must shut down the stores and related social accounts.
