Abbott probes two cyber incidents

Abbott Laboratories is investigating two separate cybersecurity incidents. The ShinyHunters extortion gang claimed unauthorized access to legacy Exact Sciences systems in Abbott's Cancer Diagnostics business. A separate threat actor, ShadowByt3$, claimed to have breached Abbott's LabCentral customer portal. Abbott stated the incidents are unrelated and do not materially impact business operations.
