iPhone production grew 20% in Q1 despite global dip

A TrendForce report shows Apple's iPhone production rose 19.7% year-over-year in Q1 to approximately 60.2 million units, while global smartphone production fell 1.7%. Samsung remained the largest producer with 62.6 million units, up 2.3%. Apple benefited from the iPhone 17e launch and better margin protection against rising memory costs.
