ESA weighs faster rocket launches as satellite demand peaks

The European Space Agency is reviewing whether rocket capacity can meet satellite launch demand peaking around 2030. Amazon has commissioned 18 launches atop Arianespace's projected nine or ten annual Ariane 6 flights. ESA funded Rocket Factory Augsburg, PLD Space, and Isar Aerospace under the European Launcher Challenge.
