Nvidia's cooling fix only cuts part of AI water use

Nvidia announced a warm-water cooling system that eliminates nearly all on-site data center water use. The system uses a closed-loop coolant at 45°C that recirculates without consuming new water. However, water used off-site for electricity generation and chip manufacturing can double or triple the total footprint, leaving most of AI's water problem unsolved.
