Opel targets Skoda Elroq with Leapmotor-based electric SUV

Opel will launch a compact electric SUV built with Leapmotor technology, positioned below the Grandland to compete with the Skoda Elroq in Europe. Stellantis and Leapmotor will build the vehicle in Spain. CEO Florian Huettl said the model fills a gap in the 4,500-mm segment Opel currently does not serve.
