Chinese chip makers won't ease RAM crisis

Chinese memory chip makers cannot help ease the global RAM crisis because government obligations force them to prioritize the local market. Silicon Motion VP Nelson Duann explained that unlike foreign suppliers, Chinese companies like CXMT and YMTC must support domestic manufacturers rather than sell to the highest bidder.
