Huntress CEO confirms threat hunter tipped off ransomware criminal

Huntress CEO Kyle Hanslovan confirmed a current employee disclosed a law enforcement probe to a ransomware operator called Devman. Hanslovan called the action poor judgment but not illegal. Former analyst Ben Folland, who left in February, alleged the employee is an insider threat putting clients at risk.
