Quebec lowers electric vehicle sales targets for second time

The Quebec government lowered its zero-emission vehicle sales target for the second time, now aiming for 80% of new sales by 2035. Environment Minister Pascale Déry stated the new target encourages EV sales while adjusting from earlier plans to end gas-powered vehicle sales entirely by that year.
