Hyundai establishes battery assembly for the Ioniq 3 in Turkey

Hyundai will assemble battery packs for the Ioniq 3 at its İzmit, Turkey plant as part of a €715 million investment, with €55 million for the battery facility. Series production begins in August, targeting 27,000 units this year and over 40,000 next year. The plant uses 27 robots and will create over 300 jobs.
