AIMRA will hold a nationwide 'No UPI Day' on October 2 to protest a proposed 0.4% Merchant Discount Rate. Retailers say the charge would squeeze small businesses and want routine digital payments to stay free for micro and small enterprises. The association demands the proposal be withdrawn.
