Ukraine Uses Steam Decks to Control Gun Turrets

Ukraine's military is using Valve Steam Decks to remotely operate Shablya gun turrets, according to photos and video from the 68th Jaeger Brigade. The $399 handheld replaces costly, export-controlled control modules, letting soldiers fire machine guns and grenade launchers without exposing themselves to enemy fire. The turrets, developed by Global Dynamics, include thermal imaging and a range finder.
