The Rust Project named six funded maintainers: Gen Li, Chris Denton, Alejandra González, León Liehr, Jason Newcomb, and Jonas Böttiger. They receive support for at least 12 months via the Rust Foundation Maintainers Fund, backed by Google, AWS, and OpenAI.
