Teradata Expands Tera AI Assistant for Governed Agents

Teradata is expanding its Tera AI assistant with a Context Engine, Tera Harness execution system and reusable Agent Skills, letting business analysts and data engineers run governed data tasks across enterprise systems without moving data. The company says Tera used 73% fewer tokens and cost 58% less than Claude Code in its own SWE-bench Pro testing. Availability is set for the fourth quarter of 2026.
