Ford could bring F1-inspired 'skunkworks' EVs to Europe

Ford's Universal EV platform, developed by a California skunkworks team staffed largely with Formula 1 talent, could underpin future European models. CEO Jim Farley called the platform's engineering "cooler than a hypercar." The first production vehicle will be a US-market pickup priced around $30,000.
