Italy opens Apple iCloud antitrust probe

Italy's competition regulator opened an investigation into whether Apple illegally preferences iCloud over third-party cloud services. The probe examines compliance with EU Digital Markets Act interoperability obligations. The regulator said it had proof other cloud providers could not achieve equal access to iOS and iPadOS.
