Anthropic has accused Alibaba of obtaining illicit access to its Claude AI models. The allegation centers on unauthorized use of Anthropic's proprietary technology by the Chinese tech giant.

Seltz, a San Francisco-based startup building a specialized search engine for AI agents, raised $12.5 million in seed funding. Speedinvest and B Capital co-led the round, with participation from Italian Founders Fund, United Ventures, and Future Back Ventures. The company will use the capital for development, hiring, and enterprise sales.

Taktile, a New York-based provider of AI-driven decision platforms for financial institutions, raised a $110 million Series C round led by Growth Equity at Goldman Sachs Alternatives. Balderton Capital, Index Ventures, Tiger Global, Y Combinator, and Dig Ventures also participated. Total funding to date is $184 million. The company will use the capital to enhance AI solutions for banking and insurance.

Apple's iOS 27 update introduces a dedicated Siri mode in the Camera app, joining Photo and Video. The mode brings visual intelligence features previously tied to the Camera Control button directly into the app, allowing users to point at objects for information and actions like pulling up restaurant Maps listings.

Meta is accelerating efforts to replace human content moderators with artificial intelligence systems. The company aims to deploy AI tools to handle moderation tasks currently performed by human reviewers across its platforms. This shift represents a significant operational change for Meta's content management strategy.

Qualcomm disclosed its data center roadmap at Investor Day, including the Dragonfly C1000 CPU with double the performance per watt and PCIe Gen 7 support.
