Elroy Air Chaparral Completes First Uncrewed Cargo Flights

Elroy Air's hybrid-electric Chaparral completed the first uncrewed autonomous cargo flights under the FAA's eVTOL Integration Pilot Program, flying over Houma, Louisiana in late August. The aircraft carried over 500 pounds of cargo up to 450 miles, with partners Bristow Group and LIFTOFF Louisiana.
