Gatekeeper flaw lets attackers swap macOS apps

Researchers Talal Haj Bakry and Tommy Mysk found a Gatekeeper bypass allowing attackers to replace a once-run web-downloaded macOS app with malware. Apple dismissed the issue, stating locally rebuilt bundles fall outside Gatekeeper's scope, leaving risk to social engineering.
