Polestar will wind down US operations and focus on Europe after the Department of Commerce's Bureau of Industry and Security denied authorization under the Connected Vehicle Rule for model year 2027. The automaker will continue selling current stock and support existing customers, but will stop marketing and sales of new cars in the US.
