Volvo adds deer alerts to electric cars

Volvo's software update adds four hazard alerts to the EX60, EX90, and ES90 electric cars, covering large animals, pedestrians, cyclists, roadworks, and accidents. In Europe, the system uses Data for Road Safety, pooling reports from BMW, Ford, Mercedes-Benz, Volvo, HERE, TomTom, and eight national road authorities.
