France Blocks Tesla FSD Over Safety Concerns

France's Transport Minister Philippe Tabarot said the country will not authorize Tesla's Full Self-Driving (Supervised) system as it currently stands, citing that it allows speeding and does not guarantee optimal driver attention in urban settings. France is holding out for EU-wide approval rather than accepting the Netherlands' national sign-off. Elon Musk responded that delaying FSD approval in France will cost lives.
