Canada invests $70M in Quebec copper foil plant

Canada is investing up to $70 million through the Strategic Response Fund to support Volta Energy Solutions Canada's $760.9 million copper foil facility in Granby, Quebec. The project will create 260 jobs and produce 25,000 tonnes of copper starting in 2027, ramping to 63,000 tonnes.
