Meta Adds AI Assistant to Edits App

Meta launched an AI creative assistant inside its Edits app on Wednesday. The tool reads a creator's Instagram metrics, including likes, views, shares and retention, to suggest ideas, hooks, captions and trending audio. It is free up to an unspecified daily prompt limit, then requires a Meta One subscription, whose priciest tier costs $499 monthly. YouTube is building a similar conversational editing tool for early next year.
