Qualcomm is working with Samsung Foundry to evaluate its 2nm process for future Snapdragon chips, mobile handsets head Chris Patrick said at Snapdragon Summit 2026. Current Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 chips are made by TSMC. The firms are also collaborating on LPDDR6 memory to ease on-device AI bottlenecks. No Samsung-made chip appeared in Qualcomm's latest launch.
