Qualcomm has confirmed it is working with Samsung Foundry to make future mobile processors, evaluating Samsung's advanced 2nm process for upcoming Snapdragon chips. Chris Patrick, Qualcomm's mobile handsets head, called Samsung its strongest global partner at Snapdragon Summit 2026. The two firms are also collaborating on LPDDR6 memory to ease on-device AI bottlenecks.
