Vattenfall and WirelessCar test automated charging

Vattenfall InCharge and WirelessCar completed a pilot for automated EV charging. Their cloud service, Seamless Charging, eliminates charging cards and apps. Over 700 drivers in Sweden, Netherlands, and Germany tested the system this spring. The service automates authentication, start, end, and payment at AC and DC stations. It will initially support Volvo Cars and Tesla vehicles, launching across InCharge stations by autumn or winter 2026.
